"Oh that I had wings like a dove, for then I would fly away and be at rest."              Psalm 55:6

Throughout history, the snow white dove has symbolized love, peace, hope, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. A Breath of Heaven doves can provide a way for those mourning the loss of a loved one to express their sorrow, and symbolically "release" that loved one on to the heavens, in a serenely beautiful, meaningful way. The release of the dove, symbolic of your lost loved one, can be an impactful, tangible way of saying "Goodbye for now."

The dove release ceremony typically begins with our representative reading a "Reading," one that has been carefully & compassionately written from the heart. This "Reading" spiritually defines the symbolism of the doves, and assists guests in understanding the fullness of all that the release signifies, enhancing the richness of their experience.

If a flock package was chosen, following the "Reading," the flock is released from the trunks. We want this to be as special as possible for those attending the service, and this is why we always include the participation of a few select family members. For each "basket" of birds, one or two family members will have the honor of releasing portions of the flock at our cue.

Climactically, someone of the family's choosing will symbolically release the lost loved one's spirit in the form of a single snow-white dove.

You may choose to release the "Spirit Dove" by hand, or from a selected piece of release equipment. Upon release, the dove joins with the angelic flock, and serenely wings its way into the heavens, creating a sentimental, memorable moment for observers to hold on to forever.

Our goal is to help make the dove release as personal and appropriate for you and your family as is possible.

As our carefully bred and trained rock doves are released into flight, it is our hope that the beauty and symbolism of their angel-like splendor may take your breath away, and that a blessed peace will envelop you.

The Angelic Escort Home (40+ doves)
**Most Frequently Booked**

At the conclusion of the graveside ceremony, a flock of 40 or more snow white doves is released. The flock of "White Angels" circles the area on high, awaiting the spirit dove, who will soon join them. A single white dove is then released from the grave site by a dear relative or beloved friend. The single dove, symbolic of the loved one's spirit, joins the flock of awaiting Angels - and as a group they depart over the horizon to begin their spiritual flight Home.

The Trinity Release (4 doves)

Three doves are released from a decorated basket.  These doves represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Next, a beloved relative or close friend releases a single white dove, symbolic of the loved one's spirit.  The single dove can be released by hand or from a small, decorated basket.  As the trinity of doves ascends into the sky, they circle on high, awaiting the loved one.  The trio of doves escorts the spirit dove on a "spiritual flight Home."

The Spirit Release (1 dove)

At the conclusion of the ceremony, a single white dove is released by a relative or friend, either by hand or from a small basket.  Symbolic of the loved one, the dove may circle, and will then fly off on its spiritual journey home.  Those watching are able to emotionally "release" their loved one, as the white dove flies off into the horizon.

The 21-Dove Salute

**For military personnel or public servants only**

Doves are released from 2 baskets covered with the American flag. At the conclusion of the graveside ceremony, a flock of 21 beautiful snow white doves is released. They may circle, and as a group they will depart over the horizon to begin their spiritual flight Home. This release is greatly discounted in honor of those who have served our country.

Some sweet thank you notes:

Thank you for your ministry. It helped some of the people through a very difficult time.
God's Very Best,

Just wanted to let you know how absolutely memorable the dove release was for our family. It was such a beautiful day and the way the kids were arranged was even more striking. All the grand and great grandkids that wanted to participate were able to do so. Since the kids had so much quality time with my mom the previous 2 mos. it was very wrenching at the funeral for them to see my mom and try to understand why she wouldn't wake up. This was such a beautiful way for them to participate and also receive some closure as well. Your script and setup was absolutely perfect. Your presentation is so professional and inspirational. It was very nice to have the dove at the funeral home as well. It was very soothing and comforting. I cannot describe how moving it was to be holding the dove -- not wanting to let it go-- but finally lifting it up be released and then the bird pausing before it haultingly left our grasp. It was also very special to have my brothers also gathered to help release this dove. The funeral home took a very moving picture of all of us releasing the dove. The dove was in the center with all of us lifting it up for its release. They also took a very moving picture of my aunt (my mom's twin sister) petting the dove.

...Thank you so much for helping (our son's) spirit (symbolically) join with
his angels in winged flight on his final journey home. We know now
that he is happy and at peace.

I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful support and beautiful dove release at Silas' funeral. You put so much love and care into helping us make that day so very special. We will never forget it. I know in my heart Silas was watching and was thrilled to see those doves flying up towards him in heaven. It was a very special way for us to let him know how much we love him. God Bless you for making this available to families. It's definitely something God meant for those wonderful doves to be a part of. Thank you from me and my family.
Sincerely,
S.W.

With sincere thanks for your kindness. It was appreciated more than words can say. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for the beautiful dove release ceremony. It was a perfect end to Tom's service and such a wonderful symbolism of his move to Heaven. I can't tell you how many people have told me how moved they were and how much it meant to them. You did a wonderful job - you are truly special, with Christ-like spirit.

I just wanted to thank you again for the dove release that you did at the cemetary for my Mother's service last Tuesday. We had several comments about how neat it was... The picture you sent home with my Dad was very nice also. You are kind and considerate and I really appreciated working with you! Thanks again for being there for us during this difficult time.
